Rest Repeat combines still-imagery, sound, and the moving image to speak to the process of looking for meaning in an otherwise chaotic environment.

I am interested in the idea of ‘technological progress’ and how this seems to happen consistently, despite
issues such as, but not limited to, environmental devastation, global health crises, and social and economic uncertainty.

The images were made using a combination of different methods, including analogue and digital photography,
scanning, digital manipulation, and artificial intelligence. I used traditional filming methods, as well as data visualisation when making the video, and produced the accompanying audio track using both field recordings and digital synthesis.
